The pianist, cellist, composer and arranger Mariano Camarasa is known for his work in line-ups like Seward, but also for his solo career. The Argentinian, settled in Barcelona, has released amazing albums with different line-ups, working closely with the violinist João Silva Argall and the pianist Bárbara Legato, among others. Now he presents the project Melodías de un retiro, a creation of “turbulent times”, as he puts it, in which “everything is made clear and what seems to be the simplest thing appears in the form of songs with a hopeful message”. Camarasa has surrounded himself with other top musicians in his band to present an evocative and, above all, a very modern project.
