Jamboree Jam: Fernando Ramírez Abella Septet. Air Candombe

Martín Leiton bass, Yasser Curbelo piano, Guillermo Calliero trumpet, Nico Correa drums, Rodrigo Palhen piano & harmonic, Fernando Ramírez congas.

The opening of the third Jamboree Jam of the month will be in charge of a group of Latin American musicians with a long history and great background. United by the Uruguayan percussionist Fernando Ramírez, this band opens the doors to the world of candombe, a cultural expression that emerged in Montevideo throughout the 19th century and which is Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. A golden opportunity to enjoy a variety of Latin jazz yet to be discovered in Europe.
