Anahi Acuña violin and vocals, Cristian Torres piano, Martín Meléndez cello.
The last concert of the year at the Jamboree featuring a string player and vocalist who embodies the best of Barcelona’s musical mixing. A French violinist with roots in Argentina, Anahi Acuña graduated from the ESMUC last May with a show entitled “Cuerdas y voces”. Acuña will open the last jam of 2019 in the company of the Cuban Martín Meléndez, on the cello, and the Argentinian Cristian Torres, on piano. Together, they will perform a repertoire that begins in the sixties, with pieces by Aretha Franklin, and moves forward in time with the music of Robert Nesta Marley, Stevie Wonder and even Acuña herself, who will premiere new tunes with arrangements written specially for this evening.
