JAMBOREE JAM amb ANTONIO GRANDE TRIO - Jamboree Jazz

Antonio Grande piano, Juan Pablo Balcázar double bass, Carlos Falanga drums

Antonio Grande, from Malaga, is one of the most important exponents of the extraordinary rise of the new generations on our jazz scene. Trained at the famous jazz school of Alhaurín de la Torre, where he was a pupil of José Carra and Ernesto Aurignac, among others, Grande has lived in Barcelona since 2013, when he came to study the Higher Education Degree in Piano Jazz at the Liceu Conservatory. In the Catalan capital he has been a pupil of Albert Bover, Marco Mezquida, Roger Mas and Iñaki Sandoval. During his jazz career, he has also formed part of more underground environments, where he won the friendship of the colleagues who complete his trio: the amazing Juan Pablo Balcázar and Carlos Falanga. To open the penultimate jam of the year, Grande and his group offer us a repertoire of standards and tunes composed by the Andalusian musician.
