Los Aguacates offer a varied repertoire of Latin jazz, with songs by Alain Pérez, Ralph Irizarry & Timbalaye, El Comité and Maite Hontelé, among other recognised figures from the genre. The group has enjoyed the cooperation of musician, composer and bassist Martín Leiton, who is also the project’s “coach”. Los Aguacates is a band formed by musicians from Mexico, Minorca, Catalonia and Chile who met at the Liceu Conservatory (Barcelona), while they were learning and growing as artists. Serving as an appetiser for the Sant Joan midsummer festival, they will appear at the Jamboree to share their rhythm and get everyone who comes down the stairs of the basement club dancing.
