A tribute to one of the greatest saxophonists in the history of jazz, Jackie McLean; to the contribution he made in the field of composition; and to his unique qualities as an improviser. The session’s repertoire is arranged for quintet formation and includes tracks from albums such as ‘Demon’s Dance’, ‘Jacknife’, ‘Jackie’s Bag’, ‘It’s Time’ and other titles from his extensive discography.
