Edu Tancredi, one of the great names of jazz in this country, presents part of his new repertoire at the Jamboree. In a septet line-up, the Uruguayan pianist melds modern jazz harmonies and melodies with a wide and diverse assortment of Afro-Latin styles including candombe, samba, landó, joropo and Caribbean rhythms.
