Before arriving in Barcelona, New York drummer Robert Castelli had a distinguished track record as a session musician and leader of his own bands in both the city that never sleeps and in Vienna. A professional musician since the age of 14, Castelli has worked with a plethora of bands from all sorts of genres (jazz, funk, rock, pop, latin music and world music) touring the US and half of Europe in the process. His Jamboree, built around his Barcelona project called BOOM, will close out July’s jam sessions in style, with an A list group of musicians by his side.
