The Magical Forest Tour

The young pianist Jan Domènech presents ‘The Magical Forest Tour’, a proposal that arose in the summer of 2020, when a group of friends, who are also great musicians, performed a series of performances in and around Barcelona. ‘The Magical Forest Tour’ includes a set of pieces inspired by “an intimate adventure in a magical forest”, they say, “which Jan Domènech created with the intention of regaining the freedom lost during confinement,” they add, and fill it with as follows: “It is also a claim to music as an expression of freedom.” However, Domènech and his family aspire to be part of the heterodox tradition of European jazz. They are, in fact, a band that combines the best of the new batches of our jazz.
