Jan Sturiale guitar, Adriano Tortora piano, Robert Lee double bass, Santi Colomer drums.
With a very personal, incisive but sweet sound, the Italian Jan Sturiale is one of the great contemporary jazz guitarists in Europe and the USA. According to the journalist Marta Ramon (Jazz in Europe), he belongs to the “unconventional group of jazz musicians that mix the tradition of creative jazz language with the spirit of rock music and a classical background”. Trained in Italy and at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Sturiale has worked with figures of the calibre of Hiram Bullock, Jure Pukl, Vardan Ovsepian, Colin Stranahan, Dean Brown and Janek Gwizdala, among many others. As a solo artist, he has recorded albums like Electric Water (2014), Two Roads (2016) and Roadmaps (2017): all little gems that confirm Sturiale as a marvellous composer and performer.
