Jazzed Modern People - Jamboree Jazz

19h Jaume Gispert, a hypnotic journey, in which the piano is the means of transport, the music the route and the imagination the destination. This journey is fed both by Jaume Gispert’s own compositions and by pieces by Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Serge Gaisbourg and others.

20h Jofre Fité Trio

Jofre Fité piano, Carla González doublebass and, Pau Gurpegui drums.

JF Trio is a formation that straddles jazz, electronic music and pop. In their music, the Trio explores improvisation and interaction between musicians and incorporates less common instrumentation in the context of jazz (synthesizers, drum machine, processed piano…). The sonic possibilities multiply and JF Trio creates a series of absorbing and captivating atmospheres from the most spacious moments to the most energetic. The fourth piece in this trio is the audience, both a lover of traditional jazz and new trends. JF connects with the public, who leaves happy and amazed, having even danced and sung some of the melodies.

The group presents Transit, their second album, a journey through various European cities that have marked the life and career of each of its members. The trio recorded this album at the Tube Recording Studio (Italy) as a prize for the best emerging band at the Fara Music Live festival.
