Chacho Brodas, from El Vallès, are one of the most innovative rap groups on the underground Catalan scene – a band characterised by the influence of funk and by experimenting with registers, forms and styles. Started in 2007 by Giffi, a former member of Soos Los Solo, Chacho Brodas have released albums like Los impresentables (2007) and Date cuenta (2009). They have also worked with artists like Tremendo, Shotta, Mala Rodríguez and Tote King. At Jazztrònica XS they will be joined by one of the great trumpet players on our jazz scene: Benet Palet. They will play the band’s hits as well as new material.
