Jeb Patton piano · Santi de la Rubia tenor sax · Ignasi González doublebass · Roger Gutiérrez drums
Jeb Patton (Kensington, USA, 1974) is one of the most brilliant and prominent pianists on the international scene, a torchbearer of the glorious jazz piano tradition. A disciple of Roland Hanna, his style draws directly from the roots of bop, with undeniable influences like Tommy Flanagan and Horace Silver. The legacy of Charlie Parker, as well as that of Duke Ellington and Jimmy Heath, takes on a fresh, contemporary interpretation in Patton’s hands.
A New York resident since 1996, Patton has worked with jazz luminaries such as George Coleman, Frank Wess, Jimmy Heath, James Moody, Antonio Hart, and Roberta Gambarini. He also maintained a more than two-decade-long association with the Heath Brothers.
As a solo artist, Patton has performed at the most prestigious festivals and venues in the jazz circuit. At Mas i Mas ’25, he will perform as part of a quartet alongside three top-tier names in national jazz.
