Master saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi gained worldwide recognition during his time with the Two Generations of Brubeck bands. As a performer, composer, author, and educator, he is renowned for his innovation, mastery, and musical integrity. He has been praised for his relentless drive, inner fire, technical brilliance, elastic lyricism, rich resonance, and visionary approach as a musician. His music has been celebrated at major festivals and concert stages across the globe. Among the many artists he has played and recorded with are Bill Evans, Paul Desmond, Dave Holland, Gerry Mulligan, Jack DeJohnette, John Abercrombie, Roy Haynes, and Pat Martino. The quartet features his long-time collaborators Mark Hodgson on bass and Stephen Keogh on drums, with special guest Joan Monné on piano.
