The pianist, keyboardist and composer from Manresa Jofre Fité presents Dotze, his first trio album, at the Jamboree. Dotze is a reflection on the passage of time through music, poetry and illustration. It concerns itself with everything we believe to be cyclical, but which is in fact new each time we experience it. In the company of Carla González and Pau Gurpegui, Fité explores acoustic and electronic sounds and a wide range of genres and styles. The songs of this brilliant product of the new Barcelona jazz generation embrace styles such as pop, rumba, havanera, drum ‘n’ bass and even punk, without ever forgetting his jazz roots.
