Joan Chamorro Brazilian Quintet
Koldo Munné alto sax and voice, Èlia Bastida tenor sax, voice and violin, Josep Traver guitar, Arnau Julià drums, Joan Chamorro double bass.
Joan Chamorro presents a new line-up, his Brazilian Quintet, with a full repertoire of Brazilian music and a combination of sung and instrumental numbers. Élia Bastida (vocalist, violinist and tenor saxophonist) and Koldo Munné (vocalist and alto saxophonist) both love this music. Their voices suit the Brazilian style perfectly in both solos and vocal duets. They are also great instrumentalists and at the concert we will be able to hear reminiscences of Stan Getz and Paul Desmond, as well as music by Jobim, Chico Buarque, Djavan, Vinícius de Moraes, Roberto Menescal and a long list of others.
