Joan Fort, a young guitarist based in the Netherlands, will descend the stairs of the Jamboree with a royal gift under his arm: a first-class quartet with a very special guest, the pianist Timothy Blanchet, who will arrive expressly from Amsterdam. Blanchet and the Catalan string player met in 2020 in the city of canals, where they are an active part of the local scene, one of the most dynamic in Europe. Thanks to this meeting, we will be able to enjoy for the first time at the Jamboree the unique style of this reference pianist. And, if that were not enough, the quartet will be completed by maestro Horacio Fumero and the magnificent drummer David Puime, a Galician who lives and works in the Netherlands.
