Joana Cebolla from Lleida is an outstanding talent among the new generations on our jazz scene – a musician who tries to transmit a natural trombone-playing and singing style when she performs on stage. After working as an instrumentalist in several groups, Cebolla has chosen a series of standards to make her name as an artist. She shaped her debut album Better Go (Quadrant), featuring her own arrangements, with the help of the group of experienced musicians accompanying her today. Joana Cebolla combines classic sounds with bold arrangements. The aim is to achieve a diverse, evocative repertoire for fans, but for anyone who hasn’t heard her yet, she’s going to be quite a discovery.
