Johnny “Big Stone” & the Blues Workers is an iconic country blues line-up, with four released albums mixing their own songs and covers of West Coast, jump and traditional blues. In their prolific career, they have toured venues and festivals in Spain, France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Norway, Luxembourg and Switzerland. In 2018, they competed in the European Blues Challenge, the biggest competition on the European blues scene. They have also worked with and performed alongside figures such as Kirk Fletcher, Barrelhouse Chuck, Maceo Parker, Hook Herrera, Paul Orta, Greg Izor, Mike Keller and Richard Ray Farrel. At the Jamboree, they will play with a special guest: Ukrainian saxophonist Artem Zhuliev. With him, they will delve into some of the great jazz classics of the 1940s.
