Produced by Ramón Ángel Rey, the album Abril 10/18 (Temps Records) began by chance, based on a spontaneous recording in 2010 at the Nómada 57 studios in Poblenou, Barcelona. The session was almost like recording a live album. Left, forgotten, in a corner, the album was revived at Easter in 2018, when it was released and was eventually named as a finalist in the 2019 Enderrock Awards. The secret? A “straightforward jazz” CD without clichés or posing of any kind, including a repertoire of standards and some original pieces.
