Jota P is the saxophonist of Hermeto Pascoal, with whom he won two Latin Grammys for Best Album and performed in over 20 countries. With his quintet, he blends jazz with Brazilian and South American rhythms, creating his own unique musical language. He has collaborated with Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Arthur Verocai, Filó Machado, Michael Pipoquinha, Banda Black Rio, Raul de Souza, and Maurício Einhorn. His albums feature special guests like Hector Costita, Gabriel Grossi, and Hermeto Pascoal, showcasing refined technique, deep rhythmic sense, and a distinct musical identity.
