With over 30 years of career, Swedish Knock-Out Greg has built a solid reputation in the Scandinavian blues scene. His emotive voice, the clarity with which he plays the guitar, and the tone and phrasing he uses on the harmonica have captivated fans everywhere. During the first 20 years of his career, he led the legendary R&B combo Knock-Out Greg & The Blues Weather, touring all over the world. Today, he heads four groups: Knock-Out Greg & The Injectors, Knock-Out Greg & The Jukes, Knock-Out Greg & The Scandinavian Blue Flames, and K-O Greg Lowdown Trio.
At Jamboree, he will play the harmonica alongside two great local artists of this small but mighty instrument: Blas Picón, a prominent harmonica player in the Barcelona scene, and Swet Marta from Salt, the only female harmonica player in Spain and a young blues harmonica reference. The three harmonica players will be joined by great musicians from the Barcelona scene: Johnny BigStone on guitar, Little Jordi on bass and double bass, and Marc Ruiz on drums; four performers who will keep the machine well-oiled.
