Laura Milazzo presents CENTRO
CENTRO is the new project by Italian singer and composer Laura Milazzo, based in Barcelona. Scheduled for release in fall 2025, this is her second album and the first entirely made up of original compositions. Across eight songs, she takes listeners on a personal journey of loss, search, and rediscovery—a deep dive into identity and artistic affirmation.
The lyrics, written in Catalan, Italian, Spanish, and English, are rooted in contemporary jazz, infused with touches of bossa nova and singer-songwriter traditions.
Live, the project comes to life with a sextet led by Milazzo (vocals), featuring Pol Padrós (trumpet), Marta Duran (tenor sax), Ester Quevedo (piano and keys), Adrià Pinto (double bass), and Andrea González (drums). The arrangements are crafted by guitarist and composer Joel Moreno.
After presenting her debut album Tutta colpa della musica (2019) at Sala Jamboree in 2021, Milazzo returns with a more mature and personal artistic vision.
