Llibert Fortuny i Gergo Borlaï - Jamboree Jazz

Llibert Fortuny tenor saxo, ewi & laptop, Gergo Borlaï drums, laptop.

Llibert Fortuny and Gergo Borlaï are two internationally recognised creative forces – experts in integrating acoustic and electronic elements into music. With essentially jazz instruments, modulated through midi systems, loops and laptops, they instantly build all kinds of sound effects, without ever forgetting the organic component of music. The Jamboree knows Llibert Fortuny – a leading figure in music in this city – like no-one else. He is one of the great creative musicians: a specialist for many years in the use of sequencers, samplers and other systems with which he complements his acoustic and electronic saxophones, the latter better known as “ewi”. His goal: to create unrepeatable sessions. This time, he will play a duo with the Hungarian Gergo Borlaï, a modern drummer, with unique capacity and versatility as an instrumentalist.
