Lluc Casares and Andre Pitarch are both from Barcelona and they live in the same building in New York. They’ve decided to get together a few days before returning to the jazz capital of the world. Backed by Pitarch and Giuseppe Romagnoli, which is one of the best double bass players in Europe, Casares will go through the songs he’s written after the successful “Sketches Overseas” (Outside in Music, 2018), with which he won the Critics’ Choice award at the Premis Enderrock for best Jazz album back in 2018. Casares will be premiering a set of new compositions that will be featured in his next album.
