Los Peligrosos Gentlemen are among the liveliest and most original blues and r ‘n’ b bands in Catalonia – a group who perform rhythms from the African-American tradition with a vibrant, authentic sound and not a hint of a cliché. Their concerts cover different styles: from the rhythm ‘n’ blues of the ‘40s and ‘50s to the electric blues of Texas, the US East Coast and Chicago, not forgetting 1960s soul. Their repertoire is inspired by such iconic figures as T-Bone Walker, Junior Parker, Guitar Slim, Otis Rush, Ray Charles, Little Walter, The “5” Royales and Johnny ‘Guitar’ Watson, as well as current musicians like James Harman.
