One of the men behind the rhythmic sound of Tete Montoliu for more than 20 years (along with drummer peer Wyboris) and a model for more than three generations of double bass players in the country, Horacio Fumero is still channeling the restlessness and creativity of up and coming artists like his own daughter Lucía, which will be performing at The Jamboree with him as a duet. Their fusion crosses youth and experience and is defined best by Horacio Fumero himself: “fortunately in art, age and race don’t matter, and neither do family bonds. In the stage, we musicians are vessels that transmit something that travels through us and our greatest success comes from interfering the least between what is happening and the audience”.
