Brazilian instrumental music makes the show LUIZ MEIRA – FROM BOSSA TO BRAZILIAN JAZZ a great party where for 2 hours the audience interacts with the artist, reflecting the spirit of Brazil, land of great musicians and music heard all over the world. Luiz Meira is known for his particular style of playing, with an impressive rhythm and a right-hand technique that makes his guitar a unique instrument in the Brazilian music scene. Luiz Meira is a different, exceptional musician. He is one of the great guitarists of Brazil. Throughout his career, he has performed alongside some of the biggest names in Brazilian music, such as Leny Andrade, Elza Soares and Luiz Melodia, and for 19 years he has performed alongside Gal Costa in vocal and guitar concerts, with whom he has made countless international tours and performed at major jazz festivals around the world. In the show De La Bossa al Jazz, Luiz Meira plays songs from his three albums and performs instrumental reinterpretations of compositions by renowned names in Brazilian and world music, such as Tom Jobim, Gilberto Gil, João Donato, Baden Powell and Egberto Gismonti. In the show, Luiz Meira features the participation of Mexican pianist Mark Aanderud and Brazilian percussionist Edi Moreira.
