“Shine” gives its name to the show and the first album by saxophonist and composer Marta Duran. A musical project that combines the depth and acoustic sound of jazz with touches of electronic elements to create a unique sonic experience and transport the listener on a journey through different dimensions.
The saxophonist’s compositions are born from the influence of traditional jazz, passing through other styles that have marked her, such as Brazilian music and pop. The pieces they perform are characterized by being melodic and singable, and the group seeks to convey a warm and welcoming live performance, while also being intense and emotional. “Shine” aims to communicate musical sincerity at all times, creating dialogue between the musicians and opening up the emotions of each member of the group to reach the listener in the most honest way.
