Organized by MASIMAS LIVE
Colombian singer and songwriter Meli Perea, born in Bogotá with roots along the Magdalena River, brings to Jamboree a powerful blend of Afro-Colombian rhythms, Caribbean warmth and modern electronic textures. Her musical path began with freestyle on the streets of the capital, grew within Caribbean folklore and evolved into a vibrant, authentic and emotionally charged signature sound.
After touring internationally with Suákata across Colombia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Spain, Meli launched her solo project with Prisma (Guspira Records, 2023), a record that explores identity through rap, Latin rhythms and Afro-Colombian soundscapes. Since relocating to Catalonia, she has performed more than 20 shows and appeared at major events such as BIME, FIM Vila-seca, Mercat de Música Viva de Vic and BAM Cultura Viva.
Her recent singles, Lodo and Me Llama La Tierra, dive into themes of origin, nature and emotional connection, blending afrotech, electronic layers and intimate lyricism. Onstage, Meli now performs with a dynamic six-piece band combining percussion, horns, guitar and DJ set, creating an energetic and captivating live experience.
In 2026, Meli Perea presents her new album Temas, terapias y visajes, a work that explores emotional healing through electronic textures, Latin rhythms and a voice that moves between rap, singing and mantra. A renewed, visceral and deeply expressive show.
