This project is an attempt to bring the most classical Jamaican music closer to people though jazz. The repertoire consists of tunes ranging from classic ska, reggae and rocksteady to the best-known jazz standards. Memi Sillah Group uses jazz harmonies and Jamaican rhythms to create this fusion of sweet music.
