Julio Coviello is one of the first bandoneon graduates in Argentina, creator of the Bandoneón Pichuco UNLa Project, one of the creators of the Orquesta Típica Fernandez Fierro and an indispensable reference of 21st century tango. He was also the founder of the Coviello Quartet which later gave rise to Tango Cañón.
He is currently the owner of the space La Tierra Invisible, which is configured as one of the most important places for the current tango scene in C.A.B.A.
NOU TANGO FEST
Series of concerts in the heart of Barcelona with Gattaca Nou Tango, a new tango octet made up of 7 Argentine musicians and one Catalan musician playing their own compositions and those of musicians representing the 21st century tango movement, from different parts of the world. This cycle has been taking place in the Jamboree 3 room with the convergence of different groups such as Altertango, Noe Sinkunas, Orquesta Ciudad Baigón, Ricardo Zanón, Panton, Dúo Volco & Gignoli, etc.
