Marc Domínguez alto sax, Biel Harper piano, Adrià Pinto double bass, Andrea González drums.
A new session to discover the young talents emerging from the city’s higher music schools. This time we welcome Origins Quartet, a group formed in the classrooms of the Centre Superior de Música del Conservatori del Liceu. The role models for Domínguez, Harper, Pinto and González are the big names on the Barcelona scene, including David Mengual, Giulia Valle, Marco Mezquida and Ramon Prats. They offer a recital including their own tunes combined with some rather unorthodox performances of the classic jazz repertoire.
Since September 2021, every Tuesday, the Jamboree room has been programming music students with a higher degree at the Liceu Conservatory, the ESMUC or el Taller de músics. In this way, Jamboree connects with emerging musicians on the city scene, contributing to their artistic and professional development.
All college or graduate students have a 50% discount on Jamboree tickets.
Jamboree is the stage where great musicians take on one of the first professional challenges: to transmit what they have learned; the music.
And at the same time they will integrate all the exciting learning that a room and an audience like the Jamboree can offer.
