Born in London in 1956, Ralph Moore is one of the leading saxophonists in jazz over the past few decades. Educated at Berklee and settled in New York in the late ’70s, he has played with such figures as Horace Silver, Roy Haynes, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, Oscar Peterson, Kenny Barron, Cedar Walton, and other great names in jazz. As a solo artist, he has recorded several works for labels such as Savoy and Criss Cross with musicians of the caliber of Benny Green, Dave Kikoski, and Terence Blanchard, among others. Ralph Moore is undoubtedly a celebrity, a jazz legend who will be performing at Jamboree with a quartet and a top-notch rhythm section. He will be accompanied, among others, by drummer Joris Dudli, with whom he has formed a successful duo since the late ’90s.
