Resolution 88 have become one of the key bands on the new jazz funk scene in the UK, with the release of two albums and a series of performances as guest artists of Snarky Puppy, Roy Ayers, Marcus Miller, Yellowjackets, Larry Mizell & the Blackbyrds and Butcher Brown The secret of their success is an original, seductive formula with a silky sound and the familiar background feel provided by the Fender Rhodes. They also show a close understanding on stage. We’ll be able to see for ourselves at the Jamboree, where they will present their new album: Revolutions.

“A fascinating young band from Cambridge influenced by the immense artist who broke down the barrier between jazz and funk in the mid-seventies: Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters” (Craig Charles, BBC). “Moving music touched with passion and incredible skills” (Bob Power – musician with the Roots, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo). “Great, unique and unique” (Snowboy). These are just some of the positive reviews they have received.
