Kenys Santiago, a.k.a. Ríal Guawankó, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on April 12, 1991. He was raised in Los Teques, the capital of the state of Miranda. He is a rapper, composer, beatmaker, and producer affiliated with the independent label YoYoDOJO.
His sound comes from the fusion of Hip-Hop with Afro-Caribbean genres such as Salsa, Latin Jazz, as well as Soul, R&B, Funk, and others.
The foundation of his style as an MC is manifested through “Lyricism” or “Reality Rap,” verbal and sonic forms that genuinely express his way of seeing the world.
