Roger Mas solo piano

Roger Mas returns to the Jamboree to present a solo piano album, Segles lligats, out on the Fresh Sound New Talent label. Segles lligats brings together 15 compositions and improvisations conceived after a long season of creative silence. Mas offers us inspirational new material recorded at the studio of the producer, Miquel Roger Casamada at Jafre de Ter (Baix Empordà). Recorded in a single day, the set of pieces on this album began to take shape at the end of that session, driven by the REC and STOP buttons. It is a set of sketches and scripts that took shape at the time of the great recording party. Segles lligats is reliable proof of the lyricism and, above all, good taste of one of the great pianists on our jazz scene. It is also a tribute to Miquel Roger, who left us in March 2017.
