The singer and pianist Sandra Cipolat with her trio proposes a series of compositions inspired by film. Influenced by artists such as Dave Holland, Herbie Hancock and Trigran Hasmayan, Sandra Cipolat transcribes the emotions and environments that evoke the great works of the seventh art. The trio was born in 2019 to celebrate the opening concert of the 12th edition of the Koa Jazz Festival in Montpellier (France). The success of that recital pushed the group to continue with this musical and cinematic adventure, an original proposal that includes passages of improvisation, free-jazz elements, asymmetrical rhythms, well-known melodies, and poetic ballads.
