The Sant Andreu Dixie Band is a group born out of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band (SAJB), featuring a repertoire of Dixieland classics —pieces like That’s a Plenty, Just a Closer Walk With Thee, Royal Garden Blues, China Boy, and others— as well as tunes from the golden era of swing (My Melancholy Baby, Limbo Jazz) and more. The combo is composed of some of the youngest musicians from the SAJB, new talents who skillfully perform the finest classical jazz repertoire.
