The current saxophone section of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band is made up of five young jazz musicians with a unique sound shaped by their deep listening to the great saxophonists in jazz history. On this occasion, they take on the challenge of performing arrangements by the legendary group Supersax, known for harmonizing Charlie Parker’s solos for a full sax section. Joining them for this performance is trumpeter Elsa Armengou, lead trumpet of the SAJB and a wonderful soloist.
