In the golden age of neo-swing in the US, and more specifically on the West Coast, various groups made 1940s-style dance halls fashionable. One of those bands was Steve Lucky and The Rhumba Burns, in collaboration with the incredible artist Carmen Getit. In those days —early 2000s—, the long-awaited venue La Boîte Mas i Mas witnessed memorable nights at the rhythm of swing, with Steve and Carmen. Twenty years later, Mas i Mas’23 recovers the spirit of those evenings and invites Carmen Getit and Steve Lucky to reunite with the Barcelona public at the Jamboree. They will be accompanied by the band with which they have toured Europe for the last decade.
