Active since 2007, Tal Gamlieli is a well-known double bassist on the jazz scene. Collaborator with trumpeter Avishai Cohen, pianists Joanne Brackeen and Danilo Pérez, saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi, singer Lizz Wright and other celebrities, he has performed on stages and events such as the UK’s Love Supreme festival, Jazz I Am, in Barcelona, ​​at the clubs Small’s (New York), Jazz Dock (Prague), Pizza Express (London) and at the Smithsonian Institution (Washington). In 2014, he launched his own group, with which he made his international debut in 2017, at the Panama Jazz Festival. Since then, he has toured solo around the world and recorded several works, including ‘Change of Heart’ (Jazztribes, 2019), with saxophonist Dayna Stephens as a special guest.
