This band began at the end of the ‘90s, bringing together six musicians with long careers in jazz, swing and rock ‘n’ roll and a desire to play instrumental rhythm ‘n’ blues. For more than 15 years, Pep Pasqual, Dani Nel·lo, August Tharrats, Artur Regada, Amadeu Casas and Aldo Munari walked out on to hundreds of stages to perform their own songs and cover versions of great instrumentalists of the r ‘n’ b tradition. The group’s break-up was followed by Amadeu Casas’ death in 2020 and since then the group has been reunited only once. But for the the Mas i Mas Festival ’23, Tandoori LeNoir will return to the stage to perform a one-off concert featuring the best of their repertoire. A comeback as historic as it is fleeting.
