Marc Ferrer orgue Hammond · Ignasi Poch tenor sax · Manuel Casado guitar · Oriol González drums
A new project has been simmering on the stovetop for some time: The Blues Creepers, a blues-jazz band cooked slowly, with an interesting lineup and suggestive instrumentation, including a Hammond organ, guitar, saxophone, and drums. With this, a new flavor is in the air: that of a fresh proposal on the jazz and blues scene in the country. The Blues Creepers are formed by musicians from various well-known formations—such as The Big Jamboree, Marc Ferrer Trio & Marian Barahona, Matthew Simon Quartet, Barcelona Big Blues Band, Oriol Romaní Trio, Oriol González Crazy Trio & Josep Maria Farràs, The Sparkles, among others—giving the project a proven solidity. As suggested by the group’s name, The Blues Creepers focuses on the blues genre, but with a dose of jazz and even boogaloo. All of this leads to a gratifying experience for the audience, enhanced by a diverse repertoire and a powerful and energetic live performance that mesmerizes even the most demanding spectator.
