The Suitcase Brothers are a country-blues duo founded in 1999 by Santos Puertas on guitar and vocals and Víctor Puertas on harmonica and vocals. During these 24 years performing together, they have been compared very often with the duo Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, who was one of their first influences and is also the most relevant duo of the Piedmont Blues style. That statement should not be underestimated as in 2014 the Puertas brothers were the first prize winners in the contest organized by the PBPS (Piedmont Blues Preservation Society) in Greensboro, North Carolina (USA), the cradle of the Piedmont Blues and birthplace of the harmonica player Sonny Terry.

The Puertas brothers are internationally recognized and are established as one of the best blues duos in the acoustic blues scene. They have earned the respect and admiration of those who love this style of music and captivate anyone who listens to them for the first time. Santos and Victor Puertas perpetuate the origin of blues through their music, making us fall deeply in love with this genre.

Tonight they will release their fifth album which honors the great Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.

It will be a one-of-a-kind concert since we will be able to see for the first time the duo accompanied by guest artists such as Abdell B.Bop on double bass, Blas Picón on drums, Myriam Swanson on vocals, Nil Mujal on sax, and some more guests.
