Underpool 5 releases the second album from a collective linked to this label from the Llobregat area, consisting of exceptional musicians from the Catalan scene. After the good reception of the first volume, Underpool 5 decided to return to the studio to record new material. The aim of this second instalment is to record the evolution of the quartet, capable of developing a unique language and sound that define – or rather confirm – the extraordinary musical personality of each and every member of the group. As on the previous album, each musician contributed their own songs that make up the choral repertoire of the album. Once again, four Spanish jazz icons have shown their quality as performers and composers. Theirs is top-class music that moves and touches everyone who listens to it. Contemporary jazz has an important place in this country with approaches like Underpool 5.
