The singer Valentina Marentes and the drummer Gonzalo del Val present a musical project inspired entirely by Mexican roots music. The strong jazz connections that unite Gonzalo and Valentina, one of the youngest, most surprising, and most traditional voices in the Mexican music scene, have given rise to this suggestive and innovative proposal, which seeks to reformulate the traditional Mexican songbook from an open and contemporary perspective, merging different styles.
