Barcelona-based Basque saxophonist Víctor de Diego presents a new quartet made up of experienced musicians from the national scene. He has worked with some of them, Roger Mas and Gonzalo del Val, many times, on albums such as ‘Evolution’ (Quadrant, 2009) and on other projects. Now it brings them back together to form a group in which the experience and complicity of its members stands out. All this is evident in the music they play. They will play pieces of their own, collected on their latest albums, while exploring the endless avenues of expression offered by the music they love: jazz.
