Xiripa Combo is a quintet composed of Peruvian musicians based in Barcelona. Their proposal blends the diversity of the folk music of their homeland with the sound and expressive freedom of jazz.

After years of jazz training by the members of the collective, the need arises to reconnect with their roots and explore the various musical genres from Peru. From this research emerge original compositions and reinterpretations of traditional Peruvian repertoire that reflect the experiences of Xiripa Combo’s members.
