SUMMARY:Armin Jambor Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Armin Jambor tenor saxophone · Matyas Bartha piano · Danny Ziemann bass · Oleg Markov drums \nLed by Vienna-based saxophonist and composer Armin Jambor\, the Armin Jambor Quartet brings together four highly regarded musicians from the Austrian jazz scene. The ensemble combines modern jazz language with strong melodic storytelling\, creating music that is both sophisticated and accessible. \nThe quartet features Armin Jambor on tenor saxophone\, Mátyás Bartha on piano\, Miloš Čolović on bass\, and Oleg Markov on drums. Their music is characterized by lyrical melodies\, intricate compositions\, dynamic interaction\, and energetic improvisation. \nDrawing inspiration from both European and American jazz traditions\, the group creates a distinctive sound that balances modern aesthetics with a deep respect for jazz heritage. \nIn November 2026\, the quartet will release its debut album\, Touch & Fade\, in collaboration with G2 and Sony Music. Following the album release\, the group will tour Spain\, Germany\, and Austria\, presenting this new material to audiences across Europe.
